The love story master Yash Chopra is back with yet another triangular love story "Mujhse Dosti Karoge" after Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Mere Yaar... was a low budget movie, but Mujhse Dosti is a big star movie starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead along with Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee and Uday Chopra. This would be Hrithik’s third release this year; the previous two Aaap Mujhe... and Na Tum Jano... were a so-so movie at the box office.

Kunal Kohli makes a debut as a director and Rahul Sharma as music director. Kunal Kohli too writes the story, screenplay and dialogues.

The story is about three best friends Raj (Hrithik Roshan), Tina (Kareena Kapoor) and Pooja (Rani Mukherjee).

Raj is a handsome, charming dashing young man and is returning to his hometown after fifteen long years in London. He longs to meet his best friend Tina and Pooja. He loves Tina and is able to woo her only through the help of Pooja. Without Pooja it wouldn’t have been possible for Raj & Tina to come together.

Tina is terrific and everyone falls in love with her. Her best friend is Pooja. She has grown up with Pooja and yet is poles apart in likes & dislikes. She too loves Raj, but without Pooja it wouldn’t have been possible for Tina to meet Raj.

Meet Pooja, an ordinary next-door girl, for whom friends are the most important things in life and can do anything for them. She loves Raj, but knows that Raj loves Tina and sacrifices her love for her best friend Tina.

The three friends are true friends who really understand the meaning of "Dosti" and are willing to do anything for each other. Love always has two ends, one is happy and another sad. Will these three friends have another end to their relation?
